What is the Wicklow Discovery Challenge?

Our friendly experienced drivers will collect your group from your hotel or venue in our expedition ready 4×4 vehicles and then depart in convoy for Ireland’s Ancient East.

Delegates can sit back and relax and enjoy this journey of discovery or they can take on a competitive challenge. Delegates in each vehicle become a team, and each team uses an iPad  and our Go Team App to navigate their way to custom checkpoints, which are located at some of Wicklow’s most iconic spots. At each checkpoint, delegates will take part in incentive friendly team activities and challenges while taking in the stunning scenery that Wicklow has to offer. For each checkpoint reached and activity completed, points will be gained and added to the Teams’ overall score. On completion of the Discovery Challenge route, our drivers will drop the delegates back to their hotel or venue or location of your choosing.

What’s included in the Wicklow Discovery Challenge? 

Sporting and hands on activities include: Hurling Workshops, Alpaca Trekking, Sheep Herding, Axe Throwing, Bush Craft Hot Whiskeys and Bodhran & Irish Music Sessions. 

Along the route, teams will also stop off at our Pop Up Artisan Food & Drink Tasting Stations where they can enjoy Irish Organic Smoked Salmon on Brown Bread, local Farm House Cheeses and chutneys and sample a selection of locally distilled whiskeys or gins. We can also offer Wicklow Wolf Brewery Beer, Ale & IPA at their Hop Farm, the only farm of its type in Ireland!

Does it fit my group?

This experience is designed to create memories of Ireland that you will never forget. This is a completely bespoke experience and can, of course, be designed to best suit your needs. All routes are predetermined before the event date, if you have any particular preferences along Ireland’s Ancient East we’ll make sure to include them in your journey with us.
