Wild Atlantic Discovery Challenge

Stretching for 2,500km along the west coast, explore Ireland’s answer to Route 66!

ASK US ANYTHING

The Wild Atlantic Way is Ireland’s great treasure filled with non-stop breathtakingly stunning views and scenery along this rugged coastline.

Delegates are picked up from their hotel or venue in our 4×4 vehicles and are chauffeured by our drivers on their chosen route along the Wild Atlantic Way.Wild Atlantic Discovery Challenge Details

Teams in each vehicle must use their iPads to navigate to checkpoints which are set at iconic & unspoilt locations, off the tourist trail. At each checkpoint, delegates will either compete in fun ‘Incentive friendly’ challenges or try out local artisan produce at our “pop up” Tasting Stations.

Make sure to get a snap at the most Instagrammed spot in Ireland, the Cliffs of Moher, or learn how to make the perfect Irish Hot Whiskey, bushcraft style with a flint stick & Kelly Kettle while in a remote part of The Burren!

For every destination reached, challenge completed and task photo taken, points are gained for each team.

Some sample checkpoints we’ve included in the past are Fanore Beach, private lands at Doolin, The Burren National Park, Farm access to the Cliffs of Moher, Omey Island, Connemara National Park & Lisdoonvarna.

Artisan tasting stations can include: Wild Atlantic Smoked Salmon on Homemade Brown Bread. Local Farmhouse Cheeses, with local chutneys on Irish made multi-seed crackers. Homemade Scones with a selection of local jams and cream.

Additional Information: Orangeworks drivers will be behind the wheel of all vehicles. Four delegates will be in each vehicle on the day of the event.

Activity stops can be added to any Discovery Challenge, such as Gaelic Games including Hurling, Farm Games including Sheep Herding & Axe Throwing.

Local ‘pop up’ Distillery & Brewery stations can also be arranged along the way set at stunning scenic locations with tastings of speciality Irish Whiskeys, locally distilled Gin’s with Irish tonics, Sloe Gin’s, Local Craft Beers and IPA’s and of course our native ‘Moonshine’ Poitin! Another good reason our drivers are behind the wheel!
